The location of the hotel is ideal and the art deco design is awesome. However, the surround area can get pretty loud at night and made sleeping a little difficult.

Beautiful historic hotel in Reykjavik. Our room had a wonderful view of Hallgrímskirkja Church, which was an added bonus. The room was extremely clean, and the bed was very comfortable. I would definitely stay here again.

Location is excellent, close to all the great restaurants and can walk to the church in about 10 min. Very close to bus stop 1 and 3 for tours. Room was excellent and clean. There is a bakery around the corner to grab breakfast.

Beautiful hotel in the heart of the City Center old town Reykjavik. The historic building is stunning, the rooms spacious & conformable with all the extra amenities you expect at very high hotels in the US. A huge brunch, heated bathroom floors & towel rack, spa, restaurant & bar. Centrally located to fine dining, all the major sites, cool shops, and clubs, highly recommend the Borg for a high-end experience in the heart or Reykjavik.

The room was spacious, clean and perfect for what we needed. Breakfast was excellent, with a good range and some local options. They also provided us with a breakfast-to-go on the day we checked out as we had to leave before breakfast was available. We intend to revisit Iceland at some point and will definitely be using this hotel again.

The Hotel Borg is a grand hotel, though medium in size it has a large personality. A historic property, the Borg has hosted many characters and events. Centrally located, essy access to restaurants and shopping. Downtown is very walkable, and if needed the front desk will call you a taxi. The rooms are comfortable and well maintained. The spa is a nice getaway. The staff are professional and friendly. Looking forward to my next adventure at the HB.

We just stayed at the Hotel Borg for our first trip to Iceland. The location is perfect, it is walkable to everything. The room was very nice and the beds were comfortable. Highly recommended!!

The staff was very friendly and accommodating and made us feel welcome as soon as we walked into the hotel. Our room was beautifully appointed, with a towel warmer, full size hair dryer, a sumptuous comforter, rain shower, and even a dedicated make-up mirror. We were extremely pleased with our stay.
