Great location and hotel

We stayed for 4 nights. The location is amazing and everyone was friendly. When we left we had an early flight and they gave us sandwiches, crisps and chocolate which they did not have to do. The breakfast was really good.

Front desk staff were always available and willing to help. We were able to check in early for an extra $30 fee which was much appreciated after an overnight flight. The bar area was welcoming with good drinks. We did order some food but could not recommend the restaurant. Location is very convenient to two bus stops for easy pick up for tours.

Staff was incredibly friendly and helpful throughout our stay. It is probably the most convenient hotel to stay at for the Reykjavík Marathon as it located right by the finish area and a short walk to the starting area. If you’re considering running in 2026 make your reservation there early. Restaurants and shops are all just a short walk from the property. There’s no parking on the premises but the staff will help you figure out what app to use to easily use the public parking that is nearby.

I really enjoyed my stay here. The location is super convenient—an easy walk to many of the city’s main sights. The hotel itself is clean, modern, and well-maintained. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout my stay. But the standout was the breakfast buffet—honestly one of the best I’ve had at any hotel. Great variety, fresh options, and everything was delicious. Would absolutely stay here again!

Fantastic place to stay. Very smart decor, friendly and helpful staff, brilliant breakfast, great location, lovely room. The only minor fault I can find is to say the tea cups were tiny! Would highly recommend this hotel.
