Upon booking, I received email confirmations including the check in process which was very straight forward and welcoming. When we arrived we attempted to follow the instructions (one being using the key to enter the main building). However the key was not there, the door was unlocked, and when we entered there was an unwelcoming vibe from the current guests. Our room leads directly to the main lounge area where offensive music was being played on the tv really loudly, with guests themselves being inconsiderate. The bedsheets in our room had beige-cream coloured stains on them, however the radiator did a good job at keeping the room super warm (and really quickly too). Parking was very convenient too, as well as the nearby Iceland (store). We were made aware in the initial emails that the check in system was in place due to the owners going travelling and therefore not there to greet guests. However, I didn’t feel very comfortable, and quite often felt irritable with my stay, and that there was no one to keep an eye on the place and guests, such as a receptionist.
