"What a great stay! The hosts were incredibly kind and went above and beyond to ensure we were happy including picking us up and dropping us back at the train station. The apartment itself is beautiful and has everything you could need to be comfortable. We wish we had added another day to our trip just to stay in the apartment and look out over the vineyards. Hannelore pointed out a good restaurant just up the road for us to have dinner and a bakery for breakfast, both of which were amazing....

"An der 2 1/2-Zi-Wg gibt es wirklich nichts auszusetzen; das Interieur sehr modern, aber trotzdem gemütlich. Ein grosses Pluspunkt auch die bedachte Terrasse, sodass man auch bei Regenwetter draussen sitzen kann. Die Gastgeberin, Frau Pirschle, sehr nett und zuvorkommend. Nein, es gibt wirklich nichts zu bekritteln. Wir genossen auf jeden Fall unseren 6-tägigen Aufenthalt. Und: eine sehr ruhige Gegend (Einfamilienhaus-Quartier)."

"Very apartment was clean and quiet. A full kitchen to cook in and a patio to relax at. The check in process was easy and host was nearby if we had any issues. It was near town for restaurants and local tourist attractions. I have no problem recommending this place to anyone."

"Had a lovely stay and would definitely return. Very central but away from the noise. Everything you need for a few nights stay. Lovely to have the terrace, which we really enjoyed. One small quibble and it's a personal thing - the pillows were too soft for our liking. Great host, we were actually having lunch in his restaurant when i phoned him, what a coincidence!,"

"We travelled from the US to Germany and spent 1 month at Gregor's place Its a large beautiful apartment Very well furnished exceptionally clean home away from home. Light and airy feeling. Stayed in multiple rentals in the area over the years and this is definitely number 1 in beauty and quality Gregor is also quick to respond to all inquiries and even went out of his way to help me. Drinks snacks available for purchase is also a plus for those arriving after stores are closed. Would definitely...

"Our 4 night stay in Trechtingshausen was everything we had hoped for and more. The house was spacious, immaculate and very well appointed. The garden is beautiful and provides immediate access to a network of hiking trails that are well worth the effort. We rented e-bikes in nearby Bingen and cycled along the Rhine and into the nearby neighbouring towns, vineyards and historic sites. The Burg Reichenstein is within walking distance and should not be missed. In addition to Bingen, the local train...

"This is a light and comfortable apartment with good views of the castle and vines from the seating area outside. Large bed and two wonderful showers! The kitchen was well equipped for self catering with saucepans, cooking utensils, coffee maker, kettle etc. A few more mugs and glasses would be useful. We had a very relaxing stay here in Alken and are hoping to return next year."

"Angefangen von der Freundlichkeit der Gastwirtin bis zur sehr schön eingerichteten und ordentlich großen Wohnung haben wir wirklich rein gar nichts auszusetzen gehabt. Parkplatz vor der Tür, tolle Lage in der Nähe der Ehrenburg (fußläufig erreichbar) und auch an der Ausstattung hat es uns an nichts gefehlt. 10 von 10 Punkten ;-)"
