"Great cabin for a fishing trip for a couple of old guys"

"We absolutely loved our stay here! Beautiful home right on the lake! They had everything we needed and more! Great for all ages, definitely what the soul needed! Fishing, campfires, kayaking, atv/bike rides and it’s not too far from downtown Eagle River!They anlso had a bonus game room in the basement, a definite hit! Our family will definitely be back!"

"We stayed for the weekend! Really nice property. Lots of room and private but a quick drive to town."

"The cabin is small and lacks privacy but has good lake access. While the cabin has the basics the really important things are not being maintained. We first ran out of propane which runs the hot water heater, stove and grill (and they have two tanks). Then the septic tank was full and we couldn’t use the toilet from about 10 pm until 3pm the next day. The property owners did address the issues but they are not quick fixes and it’s really not good when a family of four does not have access to a...

"We had an enjoyable time there. However, we could not get the furnace to work and the temp. had cooled off enough that we needed it to run. I do not have a phone to contact anyone. I left a note for the cleaners and told them about it. Otherwise it was a very nice place to stay."

"Excellent location— easy in and out with lots of level outdoor space in the front and backyard. Cabin was warm and cozy. Owners were extremely responsive and got back to any questions we had within minutes. We will definitely be booking again!"

"This property was a fantastic space for our family vacation as it allowed separate areas for our grandkids and kids. The great room was perfect for the older, late night folks to play pool, throw darts, turn up music and have fun without interrupting sleep schedules of our littles. The “bar” area is fully stocked with glassware, bar coolers and an ice maker so no need to go into the kitchen for anything. The kitchen is fully stocked: crockpots, rice cooker, dishes galore, and cooking utensils....

"Nice quiet property on the lake. Check in process and communication with owner was smooth. Everything clean and in working order. Plenty of pots and pans for cooking but not enough drinking glasses. (They do have some plastic ones). Renter should be aware there are no basic spices not even salt and pepper. Overall a nice, quiet and relaxing place to stay."

"We had another great stay at this cabin! The place is very clean, organized and has everything you need. The owner is very nice, responsive and checked-in to see if we had everything we needed, as well as when we left. We used their new firepit, which was excellent! We walked up to the area restaurants, bars and shops and spent time fishing off of the pier where we caught about 10 fish (blue gills, crappies, sunfish). We also went out on Lake Minocqua and Tomahawk Lake (with a guide we arranged)...

"We had the best stay at Porch in the Pines. The cabin was super clean, equipped with everything we could ever need, the furniture was very comfortable, the lake view was gorgeous, location was great. 5 stars all around. Can’t wait to go back!"

"This is cute place & is only a few minutes away from the Eagle River hockey dome. Perfect location for our tournament. The kitchen was fairly equipped. Could’ve used another crockpot. I would’ve given it five stars for cleanliness, even though it is a pet friendly place, it could’ve been a little more spotless. I have pets and I don’t care for pet hair on my bed. "We really enjoyed the stay. The property was big enough with enough private space. The larger shared space is great for bigger groups and eating and drinking together. We would be happy to book here again."
