Beautiful traditional style hotel with the most lovely staff - we had a sea view room (recommended) - no balcony but that was fine. The breakfast was consistently very good quality and varied enough to have something different each day. Pool area was clean with comfy beds and a few steps away from the pebble beach for a swim in sea. Overall we had a lovely stay and would recommend this hotel for anyone considering a stay in a building with character and lovely friendly staff. Thank you.

Very nice hotel with a beachfront setting and a central location. Everything was clean, and the staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast was excellent. We stayed in a Quinn Suite, which was very comfortable and well-appointed. The only downside was the noise from the casino bar and smoking terrace, which could continue until around 5 a.m.

Not a 5-star hotel. At best, a 3-star experience. This distinction matters when booking, particularly when you are paying for what is advertised as a glamorous 5-star resort. The gym was extremely disappointing. It is essentially a small, dirty basement room with very old equipment, including just one treadmill. The dumbbells go up to only 5kg. This is nowhere near the standard of gym facilities I would expect from a 5-star hotel. The rooms are spacious but very dated and would benefit from modernisation. The housekeeping was also below expectations. Cleaning was not thorough, and the mops appeared dirty. After our room was cleaned, there was an unpleasant smell of dirty water left behind. The location is the main positive. It is approximately a 15-minute walk to Rhodes Old Town, and the beach is directly behind the hotel. However, it is a pebble beach rather than a white sandy beach. Overall, the hotel may be fine if you are expecting a 3-star experience. However, if you book expecting a glamorous 5-star resort, you are likely to be seriously disappointed. The facilities, cleanliness and overall standard simply do not match the expectations created by its advertised 5-star rating.

Fantastic location and hotel for visiting Rhodes! Walking distance to both the new and old town. Fabulous breakfast with everything you could imagine. We stayed in a suite (room 306) which is huge and has a great sea view. The staff were very nice and helpful. Highly recommend.

Almost 100 years old luxury hotel at the heart of Rhodes. Great breakfast served to your table. The best thing about this hotel was the helpful and friendly staff. We are definately coming back!

The hotel is very well positioned. Close to the port, old town and beach. However, it takes few adjustment to meet the highest standard. We had a junior suite room. The A/C is awful. It was freezing at night, 18.5 deg. Even if we set it up at 21 deg. The staff were useless on this issue. After few nights, i got sick, bronchitis. Me and my wife had to wear jackets in order to have a confortable sleep. The staff at the restaurant did not remember our orders. As an example, we order pancakes with Nutella, we get them with maple syrup. I order a second glass of orange juice, i have to remind them a couple of times to bring it. There is no consistency in the kitchen from one day to the other. Today, for example, there was no olive oil at the buffet counter. We order coffee with milk. In 8 days, we never got the milk. We got woken up at 6:00 am in the morning for a false alarm, that took more than 30 minutes to resolve. The issue with the A/C seems to be generalized. Room 101 had the same issue as 219. You can notice water leak in hallways. This might be caused by A/C pipes freezing. Remote control was missing one day. This can happen, as housekeeping might have took it when they did a full change of the linens. Yesterday , we noticed that the do not disturb sign was missing. I will not go back.

We very much enjoyed our stay, staff were attentive, the reception employees were all very efficient and the property was very clean. Well positioned for restaurants, beach and Rhodes Town attractions.

One of my favorite hotels

We absolutely loved the architecture and design of the hotel. The way they preserved its authentic look while incorporating modern renovations was fantastic. From the moment we checked in, the service was impeccable — the staff at the front desk, restaurant, and cleaning team all went above and beyond. Every aspect of our stay was seamless and enjoyable. Highly recommended!

Excellent hotel on the waterfront

This was our second time staying at this particular hotel. The amenities at the hotel are excellent. The hotel staff is very courteous and helpful. The included breakfast buffet is much better than other high-end hotels. We did not visit the casino. My family visited the spa, swimming pool, hotel restaurants and we were very pleased those. The ocean view from the rooms facing the sea is spectacular.
