Reception is not manned all the time however hotel is run by a lovely lady who proactively communicates and aims to address any queries asap. "This hotel is a hidden gem, do not hesitate to book! Great Aircon. Room cleaned daily (the maids were wonderful and even folded all my sister's clothes which she always left in a heap on the floor!!). The view from the balcony was absolutely fantastic! We arrived at 10.30pm and had arranged with the owner to get the keys from the Ocean View Restaurant downstairs, which was really smooth and easy. Lovely warm welcome. "We had a lovely stay at the Marine Congo Hotel, it was only one night and wish it could have been longer but we were only there to wait for our ferry the next morning. Room was immaculate, clean and welcoming. We had a pool and sea view from our balcony. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The location was great for us as it was only a 20 minute walk to the ferry port. There are roadworks along the main road at the moment but once they are finished it will be an easy walk to the ports and city. "
