My family had a fantastic stay. This cabin was very clean , chef ready and had plenty of entertainment for my family. We especially loved the outdoor fire pit and hot tub. The host was very responsive and made the stay that much more. Thank you for extending your property to us for the holiday season. We hope to visit again!
Great house - it was a great base for seeing Mt Hood & relaxing - hot tub was a little more visible than we’d like, but otherwise we were happy with this property
Absolute great place to stay. We did several hikes in the area and drive to Washington to raft the White Salmon River. Cabin was very comfortable and relaxing after days of hiking!! Also was incredibly clean.
House was super clean and spacious. Loved the open area/ layout of the house. Stocked with EVERYTHING, including toiletries, laundry supplies, coffee, sugar, creamer, even snacks!!!It was a great location, peaceful and quite in the middle of the forest, yet conveniently only a few miles to store, restaurants, etc.Only reason i gave 4, instead of 5 star was the stairs/ walkway to the hot tub could be improved, and privacy, as there is another cabin right behind this one that can view the back yard and deck.
This was the perfect home base for several days while hiking in the Mt Hood National Forest. This area is incredible and beautiful! The cabin was perfect in every way. Very clean, spacious, warm and cozy. We really enjoyed the outside fire pit in the evenings in early July, and the hot tub was a nice bonus. Communication with Sal was always prompt and pleasant and if was a joy to work with you and stay at your lovely place. We hope to return some day!
This was an AMAZING vacation rental. We travel a lot and this was the cleanest rental we've stayed in. We will definitely return and cant wait to make this an annual getaway.
Beautiful property with the a well stocked kitchen! We had everything we needed to cook, bake, and grill! The hot tub was fabulous, in a secluded wooded area. We loved the nearby hiking options and having a parking pass provided was a bonus.
Sal and his team have created an exceptional property that perfectly blends comfort and flexibility. Our group of five found the cabin incredibly spacious and well-appointed. The location is ideal, with easy access to rivers, hiking trails, and ski hills. The neighborhood is cozy, quiet, and peaceful, making it a perfect retreat. We enjoyed our stay so much that we're already planning to book again for next year, if not sooner. Thank you, Sal and team, for a wonderful experience!
We had the chamce to stay two nights in the Cascade Cabin and had a blast! The house is beautiful, well equipped and is well located! What are you waiting for to stay there?!
Host was extremely responsive and accommodating. Isn’t it GREAT when everything works, kitchen has everything and sharp knives. The space worked for 3 old guys and seems appropriate for a family planning hikes or skiing or just chill.
We travel a lot as a family and our weekend stay was amazing. The listing did not disappoint. We had everything we needed and the cleanliness was on point. We were just at our last getaway in mid July at the beach and this weekend just topped the reason we rent thru VRBO. If your looking for your Cabin Getaway this is the Cabin you are looking for.
This was an amazing place to stay. First time Vrbo user. Went for a few days away with SO to celebrate his birthday. We had an absolute blast. Everything from the spacious cabin in the woods to the hot tub to the friendly people of Mt. Hood village. 10/10. Just a few things to prepare you for your own visit. A different reviewer suggested taking your own pillows. I second that. We weren't sorry we had our own. My biggest tidbit would be take screenshots of the host communication. There is NO CELL SERVICE at the house. Had to drive back to town to get some service. After that it was super simple. Absolutely loved our time here will book again. Thanks
Quiet wooded neighborhood, clean, well-equipped cabin. Some neighbors can be seen through trees & roads in off Lolo pass very bumpy. Not an issue for us but may be for others. It was unusually hot most of stay, but we used the fans provided until temps dropped to more normal. Beds were very comfortable. I have back issues, & my husband is quite tall. The Master bed worked for us both. My sister stayed 1 night in the Queen upstairs & had no issue. There is a plethora of places to hike, picnic, viewpoints etc nearby. Also, Mt Hood & the Columbia River Gorge are not too far. We took many beautiful hikes & spent time with family. Enjoyed hot tub 2 of nights that were cooler after strenuous hikes. Hit a couple of local eateries. I have to say the Zigzag Inn had the most character & we enjoyed the food & staff. Would rent again if back in that area of Oregon. Thanks Sal & Melisa for sharing such a lovely vacation home.
We were looking for a cozy cabin in the woods in an area to go do some hiking, and we found it! The house provided all modern conveniences, very clean, very nice and welcoming…..a great stay.
The cabin was all we could have hoped for & more for our Mt Hood summer stay. Everything was so cozy, clean, spacious, and overall just a great place to stay. We loved the front porch, the thoughtfully provided coffee & tea, and all the great hikes and recommended places in the area. Highly recommend!
Dry clean and comfy cabin with nice amenities. Hot tub was perfect. Beach towels provided. Kitchen nicely stocked with everything we needed and beds were very comfortable. We will be back!
A beautiful cabin in the woods! We found this property to be incredibly clean and well stocked. Everything is comfortable, clean and homey. The hosts are fantastic and responded quickly, and we all loved the special touches of a welcome note and snacks! The hosts have obviously thought everything through and even provide a Northwest forest pass for guest use. Will definitely stay here again!
