We loved our stay for one night. The service was wonderful and we slept well. These are old Malay huts so donāt expect anything different. Wonderful unique experience for a couple or single. No TV, traffic or noice. Very calming. Pool and breakfast were terrific. Beach was fantastic.

Helpful staff, both cleaning and front desk. Handy location to Secret Recipe (wide variety, takes VISA) and coin laundry. A quick walk toward town gets you to the taxi stop, park, bus station, post office and department store. Just beyond is the large traditional market and jetty. Can't complain about the walk, because the hotel we stayed in in the Chinese district was often noisy, although close to the market.

The 24-hour convenience store right next to the hotel was definitely a plus. Finding childhood snacks in there was a bonus. Reception employees were very nice and courteous. Upon checking into our rooms, we found one of the rooms to have a sort of unpleasant smell. Upon request, the employees at the reception promptly moved us into a...
