"Emily was kind and welcoming at check in! She even helped me out when I realized I'd forgotten my phone charger. The only bummer this stay was how long it took to reopen the pool when storms were in/moved out of the area. There could have been more communication on that from the people making the decision, especially since that meant access to the steam room and sauna also was cut off. The staff did a great job of being friendly while everyone waited!"

"Visit to woodstock was for the McHenry music festival. Once we approach the property we were a little concerned because there was a lot of construction going on the roads surrounding the hotel and the outside of the hotel well let's just say is due for a remodel as we entered the hotel we were greeted by a very friendly staff member. she checked us in a timely matter and recommended The Chop Suey Hut for dinner. the inside of the hotel appear to be remodeled recently and had us feeling much better about the stay. took the elevator to the third floor to our room and we were pleasantly surprised at the condition of the room the beds were comfortable it appeared clean , the only negative thing about the room was that the shower had really no pressure. The next morning we went down to the breakfast its just the standard yucko stuff. The hotel was reasonably priced so over all it was a good experience."

"Love the place but get noisy at night. The restaurant is very bad. Food prices doesn’t match the quality. Service is terrible, we get our food about 35 minutes but the other couples are walking out. Don’t eat there, please go to other places"

"The hotel was clean, but they were not prepared for the breakfast rush. Both mornings I was there, they ran out of food. Sometimes they refilled it, sometimes not. There was plenty of parking and the restaurant was big. Breakfast was my only complaint."

"Nice staff everywhere. Bar, restaurants, front desk...one disturbing thing though...Asked 3-4 people at front desk if I could get the Milwaukee Brewer game on TV....they had no clue. I found a "Milwaukee" channel guide on the TV, which turned out was impossible to use....also no one knew about that. A couple times the person went to ask a "manager", only to come back with no answer. Disappointing."
