"Great location"

"We loved seeing the facility. We were sorry that we didn't get to enjoy having a drink on the patio. We ran out of time as we had to be at a local hospital VERY early the next morning. We hope to return sometime. We did rent the same room the next night, but again we spent most of our time at the hospital. We were sorry that we had to pay a much higher amt. the 2nd night. But the 2nd night was on a Friday night. I just feel we might have been given a discounted rate. We were thankful that we didn't have to move our items from the room that we stayed in on Thursday night. Things happened at the hospital that required us to stay in K.C. area for actually 5 more days. We enjoyed a bottle of the wine in our room. The shower in our room needed a higher lip on the floor so water didn't get out on the floor. We were careful in cleaning up the water from the beautiful floors. Very happy that the family is working on keeping this beautiful building available to the public. "

"We liked everything about the motel and especially the 'don't pay until you stay' and easy cancelation option. It's a great motel in a small town right on I35 and down the street from a Sonic. The bed was great as were the pillows. We would highly recommend this facility!!! Bye, bye VRBO, hello Best Western! "
