"We loved the Canal boat. The experience was a very unique one for our first time in London. There are multiple restaurants very close and stores for any food/drinks you might want with you on the boat. We would visit again! "

"My family stayed for four nights in July 2025 (parents, two teen boys) and we really liked the bunkbeds and layout and uniqueness of staying on a houseboat. It's in a gated boat community where lots of people live full time on their boats. It's about an 8 minute walk to Canary Wharf, which is convenient, but it is a bit farther away from a lot of tourist spots and closer to the financial district which is a different vibe. "We had a very special time on Matrix Island with grandparents and teenage children. Superb location and very attentive hosts. We will return to this gem in the future! "

"Taggs Island is such an interesting little enclave close to London and unbeknownst to us before. Set in a small inlet off the Thames, the house is one of a group facing onto the water. Linda, the host, has very much personalised it and provides every comfort. Although an expensive add-on, highly recommend the hot tub, which is deep and relaxing. Only down-side to the situation and rather shattering the peace, is being on the Heathrow flightpath, which we hadn't thought about!"

"perfect location, lots going on but at the same time quite quiet, i guess in high season this would be different. Kaia and Bruce perfect hosted. Just a couple of suggestions, a hook on bathroom door and shelves above toilet to put towels and clothes etc on. Maybe a small drop down table in the bedroom. "

"This is a fun place to stay in so much as my room had a massive outside area, the bed was great and I could look out over the water to watch the fun of Canary Wharf Its very very basic. I had no shower gel etc in the shower, the toilet is a marine toilet, no water offered (or available) so needed me to visit a local shop. Its near all the bars so quite noisy. I'd stay there again but not for that price. Its too expensive for what it is. "

"Easily the best place I have ever stayed. Lovely location, so relaxing and quiet. Host was extremely accomodating and easy to communicate with. Wish I could have stayed longer, and will be back at next available opportunity. 5+stars!"
