"This hotel had its pros and cons. Pros: The hotel itself was clean and athletically pleasing.The staff were friendly, helpful, and immediately responded to our concerns.The room was clean upon arrival. There is a sauna and pool onsight,which we used almost everyday to relax.Breakfast was good,with a decent amount of food/drink options, but the food selections were the same everyday.Another huge Pro is the location of the hotel. It’s right across the street from Central Station and is within walking distance of many of the locations we wanted to visit-such as the 9 Streets of Jordaan,the Ann Frank House,numerous museums,canal cruises,markets,and the Red Light District. Cons: The first room to which we were assigned had a few problems.The flush on the flush on the toilet broke,there was a flickering light,and the teapot had not been cleaned.When we brought this to the attention of the staff,they immediately switched our room and the new room was great.Another issue was with the TV.When using the casting feature,it frequently stopped working.With the frustration of casting,we decided to rent a movie; however,no movies to select were available. When brought to the staff’s attention, a representative came to our room within 15 minutes to help us troubleshoot.We resolved the casting feature,but we were unable to rent movies.The last issue we had was with housekeeping. There was 1 day (of 4) we were out all day and housekeeping never came. Upon notifying staff, someone was sent up."

"We mostly booked a room here because of the free airport shuttle, which we used several times. We also appreciated being able to drop off our luggage before it was time to check in, which allowed us to do some sightseeing. The room was very nice and clean, with a comfortable bed. One slightly strange thing about this hotel was that you needed to use your room card to use the elevator."

"Hotel location was perfect. Staff were so helpful about good restaurants, directions, overall very friendly. We arrived very early and asked for an early check in. They stored our luggage, while we explored the city. Other people came and got their rooms, not us. Last ones to get a room way after check in time. Did offer us a glass of wine."

"Staff was super helpful and pleasant and the 24 hour access to coffee, cappuccino and various teas was superb!!!! Beds were very comfortable and the room was extremely clean. I couldnt have been more pleased with our stay and would return. All this and excellent location, cant be beat! Great bar right next to hotel too and tons of restaurants. Must try Paloma!"

"The room itself is simple, but nicely furnished. The desk is small, but guests can work and help themselves in the lobby lounge (24Hrs). The soundproofing in the room is better than comparable lodging places. I did not expect this to be a favorite place (in a quieter part of Amsterdam, thank goodness!)."
