"Was a wonderful stay! People need to be aware of off season in April/ma. I personally love coming in. Off season and this property is beautiful and the staff is kind. Also plus for dog friendly and hot tub and pool."

"Great value in this sweet, recently renovated motel. The room was very clean and updated; bed very comfortable. Loved the well-thought provision of several wall hooks for towel drying. Large sink area outside of toilet/shower area, which I always prefer for functional use. Some of the furniture surfaces were a bit worn from careless guests, but not an issue. Most areas felt very new and fresh. Our room was surprisingly quiet, even being just off a busy road. The grab and go breakfast was scant, but much appreciated as an option to fill our bellies a bit. The coffee was good, something we truly appreciate on a long trip with weak coffee at most locations. We would not hesitate to stay here again. It was one of the best finds in our month-long trip--a great value! "

"Hot tub was amazing! Massages were amazing! Pool opened May 9, which in Colorado is early for an outdoor pool. More than half of the rooms have been renovated, grounds are beautiful and everything is in walking distance. A beautiful place to rejuvenate, regroup and relax. We will be back and definitely get a room with our own hot tub."

"You absolutely need a 4 wheel drive car if there is going to be any inclement weather during your stay. Getting up to the property could be stressful for people who are not used to navigating 1 car wide steep gravel roads with a hair pin turn. Overall the house was so cozy and inviting. There is a great fireplace in the living room, the sound of the creek in the back yard and a nice big kitchen. Bedding and decor could be updated for the price but it did not make my stay any less enjoyable. I saw deer wandering in the backyard which was AWESOME! I would definitely recommend this mountain cabin for your Ouray vacation!!"
