The Victorian Inn

"The room was spacious, very clean, and quiet. Check-in was easy. The only negative to keep it from being 5 stars was the internet was next to useless it was so slow and kept dropping off. Our room was only 2 doors down from the office so was surprised the WiFi was so bad. If traveling to Telluride for the first time be aware that finding parking can be difficult. This is not unique to the inn. The inn has some limited private parking but it fills up fast, first come first served, and street parking is hard to come by. The up side is once you find a parking spot everything is within short walking distance."

"As a returning guest, I was disappointed with this stay. I was placed on the bottom floor next to active construction, and the noise made it difficult to sleep. I can’t say why that room was assigned to me, but after my previous experience with the hotel, it left me feeling unwelcome. On my last visit, staff told me I couldn’t bring my service dog into the restaurant. When I went to the front desk to address it, Bruce yelled across the lobby while I was speaking with staff. I had hoped management would handle that concern more professionally, but this time I again found management unfriendly and somewhat stuck-up. The food at the hotel restaurant was disappointing and didn’t meet the standard I’d expect from the hotel. The back side of the building also has a lot of clutter on the balconies, which looks out of place. I do love the location, and the hot tubs are amazing—that’s why I’ve continued to stay here. But I wouldn’t book a first-floor room next to construction again, and the overall experience has made me reconsider returning."

"We had a super time during our overnight visit. The Lodge is well located, easy to park and use the gondolas to get to mtn village and town. The restaurant is great. The pool/hot tub is fantastic. We came back after check out and a bike ride for a late lunch and hot tub on Sunday."
