Competition is tough so finding the right place can be like rolling the dice. Lindley's Little Gem exceeded my expectations! Cleanliness is very important to me. I'd give this a 10 out of 10! Although this is a small one-bedroom, one-bath older home (cottage), it has a large bathroom with a deep soaking tub, big walk-in shower, good thick towels...

"We enjoyed this spacious house in prime location to our event we attended in Waco. All of the well-sized bedrooms have their own full bathroom. Their is ample space in the living room, dining room and kitchen. The kitchen has everything needed to cook and serve, just bring your food and drinks! The large outdoor area in the back has seating, a deck and plenty of play space! We loved the gated back parking area. The hosts are very availabile and respond quickly. Thank you for an amazing stay!"

"I rented this property to meet up with my brother and his wife for just an overnight stay. When we arrived we could not find a place named Sunflower Inn and the one place we did find was called Esperanza Inn and there were already guests staying there. Upon talking to the owner he informed us that his unit somehow got overbooked and there was nowhere for us to stay. We immediately asked for a refund and he assured us we would be fully refunded, We waited the rest of that day to see a refund, but...

"Had some minor issues and had a wrong telephone number which complicated communication with the host However once they were aware they responded immediately. The house was lovely and we enjoyed the yard and pool in the evening…thank you Mark and Tiffany"

"This house was close to Lake Waco which was a great place to go and view the eclipse."

"Two moms driving in from Central Texas for a campus tour of Baylor. We had a fantastic time. We played games and roasted s’mores by the fire. If our daughters choose the university, we will definitely be regulars at this house. Beds also very comfortable however, the sound of cars outside had me using my White Noise maker on my phone."

"Cleanliness could have been stepped up. Kitchen cabinet doors were dirty, household trashcans dirty, under beds dirty, oven and broiler need cleaning. Things travelers need such as luggage stands, towels racks for the bathroom, extra toilet paper and paper towels should be standard items. The place met our needs although, they did not let us know it was not handicap friendly. Should have handicap bars in bathrooms and tubs should have non slip surfaces. Suggestions: Cutting board, colander...

"Clean and well kept older home that was in neighborhood with many college houses. Appreciated all the little amenities on the property - was very thoughtful and helpful. Would not recommend this place for young children- college party on Saturday night was very loud. The hosts of the party did politely come over to warn us but still disturbed our sleep for many hours."

"The property is right off the main road so it can be noisy and a late night train can prove worthy of white noise if you need it. You can't beat the location if you are interested in visiting Old Fort Parker and Fort Parker state park to reinforce education with primary sources regarding frontier life, native american and african american history, the great depression, the New Deal... You will appreciate the proximity, hot showers and comfortable beds this place offers its guests. It's remote...
