"this place is pretty far from restaurants but our main priority was to have a safe place to sleep for 1 night before we continued on our journey and it was perfect for that. they have a great common lounge that looked stocked with games, but we were so tired from hiking and driving all day that we didnt get to use this. there are lots of great and funky art pieces on the property and paints on the walls. thank you for a great stay!"

"We stayed in the cabin for 2 nights, the first two nights of our holiday. The bedroom & balcony overlooks the sea. We saw 3 whales the first evening from the shore path. The second day we toured the peninsula & saw all of the sights. We had a wonderful couple of days. The cabin is well equipped & had everything we needed. We bought supplies in Bonus supermarket in Borgarnes on the way from the airport. The murals are interesting & worth a look. Rent a jeep if you’re heading out this way so that you can reach the sights only accessible by track. Really recommend this cabin for anyone seeking peace & quiet right beside the sea."

"Very unique stay with history. Hosts were very accommodating and welcoming. Loved the vibe The coffee and breakfast option at the hostel is actually in the next village over, which was a bit confusing. "

"The house is spacious, and it's right on the cliff. The view is gorgeous. The staff was very friendly and helpful. They even left a surprise gift basket with a few beer/wine bottles in the fridge. The telescope was great for bird watching. "
