The first room had an incredible view of the Duomo, a lovely deck, and an en-suite bathroom. "Not fancy but clean, spacious, and nice staff. Beds with metals frames are creaky. Area is a little noisy but convenient, many restaurants in walking distance, about 10 min walk to Pitti palace and Boboli gardens, 15 minutes to Santa Maria Novella station. "

"Really excellent location in an old building. Close to lots of sights. There's 1 window on the bedroom which is large but high up so you can only see the street if you stand on the ledge to see out. Air conditioning is only allowed from June to September but due to hot weather we requested to use it in may which was allowed by the owner. I wasn't aware of this law and I didn't see it on the listing. Maybe missed it but I tried hard to find it afterwards so if it is there it's not obvious."

"We visited several cities during our trip to Rome and this was the best hotel we stayed in the whole time. Check in was easy. The room had a wonderful balcony, and the balcony had a great view of the main shopping street. Great food and shopping were right there! The room was comfortable and quiet. The shower was fantastic. I don't have a single bad thing to say about this place other than I wish we could have stayed in that hotel room longer. Highly recommend this hotel! "

"Fantastic location & a super friendly Vanesa. Outside the room its a bit noisy at night but it’s a great location so that’s 100% forgiven. It’s also up 4 flights of stairs but the lift takes care of that. Well recommended."
