"The Kyriad, Tours is conveniently located near the motorway, making our morning departure quick and easy as we continued our journey south. Parking was free and close to the property. Our room was simple but very clean. The staff were friendly and helpful. We opted for the breakfast buffet and we were not disappointed. We were blown away by the variety and quality of the food. "Good location (very close to the train station and downtown) and relatively quiet for being located on a major road at a major intersection. The building is nice, solidly constructed with spacious rooms and high ceilings. The room needs some updating in terms of decor and there are little touches that show a lack of very careful attention to maintenance (curtains that aren’t attached completely at the top of the window, dead mosquitoes on the sheer curtains). A little more careful attention to these details would go a long way to improving the first impression. That said, the room was spacious (a corner room -05) and the bed was very comfortable. The staff were welcoming and pleasant. All in all, I recommend this hotel and would stay again on another visit to the Saumur area."
