"Great location for access to Saint Mathieu and the lake. Good sized bedrooms, plenty of decent crockery, etc. No frills but adequately met our needs. As we were only a couple we were paying a premium, better value for a family. Gardens surrounded the property with plenty of choice of seating, weather permitting."

"De rit naar het vakantiehuisje is verrassend. Kronkelig door het bos vind je de locatie makkelijk als je de bordjes volgt. Julia wachtte ons op en heette ons heel hartelijk welkom. Na een korte tour en introductie konden we van de rustige en groene omgeving genieten vanaf het overkapte terras of het zwembadje. De inrichting is netjes en compleet. De keuken beneden is helemaal nieuw en alles is aanwezig, zelfs een blender!. Boven is het tweede kamertje wat klein voor tieners, maar kleine kinderen...

"This gite has everything you could need and more from a lovely pool to an outdoor gas barbecue and an (indoor) air fryer. Julia and her family made us all feel really welcome, lots of helpful advice and communication. The only thing we’d change was the weather! Such a shame and meant we didn’t make as much use of the fab pool as we’d hoped. Other than that - perfect!"

"The property was beautiful, we made good use of the pool and all of the shaded areas (it was extremely hot during our stay). The snooker table was the subject of many early evening rivalries and we were lucky enough to be there whilst the village food fair was on, which was a bonus. A lovely relaxing stay in a very well equipped property."

"Sometimes it really does pay off to go somewhere which is just a little further away from motorways, big cities etc. This house is truly relaxing and quiet. And yet, there are plenty of towns, markets, swimming lakes etc within a 10-15 kilometre distance. We travelled with our three kids and had such a great time - playing games, taking little trips to nearby swimming lakes, and barbecuing into the night. "Lovely old house with some charming foibles and eccentricities. Even developed a soft spot for the robot lawn mower. Great space, 4 bathrooms (2 ensuite), well equipped kitchen (always great to have basics there - salt, oil, herbs etc), great table tennis room, big garden to kick rugby ball. Outdoor bbq plate. Terrace and view lovely. Close to airport suited our family requirement. Lots of sunny and shady spots. Some TLC needed in house - first stair step and ants/bugs in top bedroom - not...
