It is indeed a magnificent sight (I couldn't get enough of); still, I was dying to get to its top, so I pushed my limits and climbed the steep ridge in no time. The lush surroundings flooded my soul and caressing the enduring walls actually transported me seven centuries back. And I bet that even then, the churn inside and outside of the fortress walls was tamed by the outstanding peacefulness of the nature.'

"I've rarely experienced hospitality as this, period. And, I've traveled to many parts of the world and all over the US, renting homes and staying at resorts such as Four Seasons and St Regis. The owners, Alin and Hertha, were there to meet us upon arrival and welcomed us with open arms. It is hard to go over everything that they arranged for us to make our stay so comfortable as we were there to shoot a film documentary and needed a quiet, more remote place to stay to unwind each day. "Outstanding service from the front desk staff. One of them was kind enough to lend me his desktop computer to print out my boarding pass which I was unable to do on an iPhone. The only slight criticism is the water pressure in the shower is weak and it takes about five minutes for hot water to appear. Overall, very good value for money with a included decent breakfast."
