"Everything was as advertised and there is little that could be improved. Three suggestions though; 1. The house is generally very well equipped, but If you are British and like us drink tea, then take a kettle! 2. There are lots of quite complicated electronic devices in the house and although we received detailed verbal instructions in French, it would have been really nice to have brief written instructions perhaps in a folder (and maybe an English translation too)? 3. In the village is a great Boulangerie with a very nice owner. This home is also close to Saint Emillion, which you definitely must visit. The space is a small house on its own property in the little village of Loubès-Bernac and was ideal for us. Great spot to jump off from to explore this wonderful part of France. "A very spacious property with all the amenities you could want, good bathrooms and comfy beds. The location is idyllic, the views incredible and everything is in easy reach with plenty to do for the whole family. Duras and Monsegur well worth a visit, especially on market day or night. "Mr Onillon was a great host, meeting us at the property and again at departure. A genuinely lovely man. The property is very comfortable and well equipped. We cycled a lot and there are good routes both ways along the Dordogne with Bergerac 20k away, plus a number of Bastide villages all around. Bordeaux is an hour in a car and Sarlat, La Roque and Domme all around 90 minutes away. Huge supermarket 2 minutes away in the car and a big Saturday market in St Foy. "This property has lots of character. The views are glorious especially the afternoon sunsets. The property was well catered for. We prefered this proximaty to St Emillion, in a quiter rural village. However it is just a quick drive and you are able to enjoy all the wonderful restaurants and wine estate for which St Emillion is famous for. "Visited this beautiful property early June. All furnishings of a high standard and very clean. Jules maintained the pool every day. The gardens are stunning and its on a nice quiet road if you want to get away from a busy town. Lots to do in the area, most within a 15 minute drive.
