It was in the best location ever! Not much lighting, the floors were very sticky, pretty much no privacy as the neighbors balcony goes across right in front of your window and you can hear and see everything each other says or does. No stove, just a hot plate it works but takes a very long time to even boil water. Nice very cold refrigerator and freezer. Bare essentials for coffee or eating. Bed was very comfortable And air-conditioning in the bedroom worked great. The property manager was just wonderful! He gave us answered and helped us when we reached out to him, but He did not hover over us. Check in was easy with the keypad. The location and property manager did make it a very pleasant stay.

The apartment was nice for what I needed. However, there were a few things wrong. The shower head was broken, no hot water, spiders throughout the apartment, air conditioning did not work properly, my girlfriend would wake up with welts, small insect bites all over her body as if she were getting bit by something throughout the night which made her VERY uncomfortable. We ended up changing hotels on our final night.

My boyfriend and I stayed in the one bedroom unit for a last-minute trip between Christmas and New Year’s. There weren’t a ton of options available, and we knew the area so were Ok with this apartment. The location was great- a block from Sandy Beach, but still away from the crowds and noise at Tamboo. This unit does not have any outdoor space other than the roof deck (which was beautiful), and the living room windows look right into the neighbor’s balcony, which felt weird and was loud at night when they were using it. The WiFi didn’t really work at all (definitely not if you need reliable access for work or something) and the TV didn’t work our second night either. It was nice to have AC in the bedroom, but the futon left much to be desired- and would not work as a second sleeping option. The kitchen was minimally stocked and did not even have a coffee maker, which we found disappointing. Overall, it was fine for a couple of days, but there are better options in the area at this price point if you have the choice.

After we were moved from Apt. 1B to Apt. 2B our impression of Casa Blanca changed a lot. The apartment is spacious and well equipped. A big plus is a big balcony with plenty of seating options and a table where you can eat your meals. The property manager Laly is very nice and have all answers to your questions. Casa Blanca has a good location for surfing, bars and restaurants (if you don’t mind late night noise) and pretty close to beaches with quiet water for swimming. We like Rincon and certainly will return to this place.

Would stay again
I had a great time staying at Casa Bianca. They were incredibly communicative and allowed me to bring my dog. Property manager Alicia was very kind, and always a mere text message away. She even helped me sort out a taxi back to San Juan airport after my rental car fell through. The property is well located and safe; walking distance to Tamboo, Parking Lots beach, Jake's Java, Kahuna Burger, Casa Verde, etc. Maria's Beach, Domes are a short drive away. The decor could use a major refresh, and the WIFI was very spotty (not their fault, the area is still dealing with post-hurricane repercussions), however it would not stop me from staying there again given the excellent price. My basic needs were met, the bed was comfortable, the apartment was clean, and it was well located - not like you stay inside in such a beautiful place!
