"The Globe is a great pub/ bed and breakfast. The room we had was large and clean with a en-suite shower room. The breakfast was excellent and you can choose what you like from their cooked breakfast list the night before.The village of Buckfastleigh is very nice and you have the Abbey and moors on your doorstep. Great location to get up onto Dartmoor, excellent breakfast, and worth booking dinner for more good food (and some nice musical entertainment). The rooms are above the pub, so bear in mind it can get a little noisy but with reasonable opening hours, it’s nothing that would keep you up too late (or early!)."
