"My husband and I went for our honeymoon. When we booked our stay we weren’t aware the resort was still closed due to the hurricane. We mentioned to them we were going for our honeymoon and were promised something special which didn’t happen. Out of 3 elevators for the buildings that were open, only 2 of them worked sometimes. One night all three elevators were out of order and we had to walk up seven flights of stairs to our room at the end of the night. We spent two and a half days without WiFi, and no we weren’t there for WiFi but would’ve at least enjoyed some background noise on the tv before bed. The buffet food for breakfast, lunch, and dinner were cold and the fruit unfortunately you could tell came out of a can which was disappointing. However, eating at the restaurants that was only available through reservation was amazing! My husband and I feel like the staff were pressured to open so soon prior to being ready to open. We do not blame the staff for trying so hard because they truly were so nice and helpful. There is also no beach right off the property unless you walk all the way to another resort. We may give this resort another chance later in the future after having some time of being open, but not having an actual beach is unfortunate. P.S. Check in for almost everyone was about a 3 hour wait after the posted 1PM check in time."

"We had a wonderful time at this resort. Everything was clean, and you could always see staff cleaning around the resort. The food was delicious and refilled quickly. Staff was friendly and quick. We have two little ones, so we spent most of our time at the kids pool or the beach. They also loved the kids show at night. Our room was very quiet, and we got a crib for our 12-month old. "

"A toilet keep clogging up take forever to get help bathroom sink clogged up waiting for maintenance. Three hours. Food was good but to get things done in the room horrible."

"The staff can be hit or miss! The lack of restaurant and options for food can be a problem. The beacb is terrible, essentially non existent "

"The over all experience was ok. Check in time was 3. We waited an hour and a half for our room. We are not very adventurous when it comes to foods, lunch and dinner options were limited. The spaghetti at the Italian restaurant was very good. The swim up room was great! The pool was massive, plenty of room to move around. The room was clean."

"The staff was excellent, made us feel welcomed and always checking in on us to see if we're ok. Shout out to the front desk for upgrading my room so that I didn't have to share bed with my mom. Shout out to the kitchen/dining staff also for making my mom's birthday special ❤️ "

"Resort needs updating. Everything was very clean and the staff was very friendly and helpful. However, our curtains were not on track properly and very difficult to open/close. Food in the Samurai Restaurant and the Italian Restaurant was mediocre. We did find a good variety of offerings in the Buffet and chose to eat out on the patio for breakfast and dinner which was quiet and relaxing. The service in the buffet was good. Excellent desserts and omelettes too."

"This property is outstanding. No big crowds, lots of personal attention. Beach was very clean and not covered in seaweed. The property has a historic feel to it, very classic. Do not go here if you are looking for an ultra modern architecture experience. Nor should you go here if your looking for a party vibe. Very relaxing quiet redort with outstanding service. There is a butler waiting for you nearly everytime you leave your room! Restaurants are great too."
