I had to check out after only staying for one night of our reservation due to health concerns. I am asthmatic and after discovering black mold growing on the wooden doorframe in the bathroom, I was left with no choice but to check out. This was not the only issue as the sheets were also stained and the duvet appeared to not be cleaned for a very long time with unpleasant stains and came in direct contact with my skin as there was no duvet cover and the sheet was placed over top of the duvet which is very odd and is not at all hygenic when these bedding items do not seem to be washed! Extremely poor customer service, no attempt by management to resolve the issues raised.

My stay at the ibis Hotel, Rio De Janeiro, Copacabana Pesto 5 was great. Good location. Everything nearby and within walking distance. I advise that you pay the $6 cost for the breakfast. It is more than worth it.
