Rooms were clean, breakfast buffet was varied, and the price was reasonable. Not the most touristic part of town but close to many places where to eat.

Vila Galé Rio de Janeiro
I love this hotel. This was my second stay in 10 months. My only criticism was check-in. There were 4 people ahead of me and it took almost a half hour to get to me.

Hotel Atlântico Avenida
The room was not fully clean, the air conditioning did work but here no instructions on how to use it and the first night I slept without AC . Additionally the evening staff was unbelievably rude and the street very noisy. I wouldn’t recommend.
