"had a wonderfully peaceful holiday. very beautiful surroundings, but you have to realize that you are far away. the house was in tip top condition, kitchen and outdoor kitchen were well equipped, everything was there. 1 small negative point, bathroom in the annex had a musty smell. but we enjoyed it very much, thanks."

"We had a great 4 days at the villa with good weather and good times. The villa and location is rustic with large grounds. Enjoyed the pool and table tennis, and Francisco was a great host. Watch the door as it self locks and we managed to lock ourselves out on the first night but Francisco was a great help. "A group of 4 adults, this was our third time staying at Casa Alex. Communication for the booking was great. The villa and views are as amazing as ever, especially as The Lake was as full as we have seen it in a very long time. We ticked The Alhambra (Granada) and a tour of the Malaga Bullring off of our bucket list. Many thanks to Colin for always being there when needed and for being very responsive. We are hoping to be again in 2026. "

"If you are a couple traveling in southern Spain, you really want to spend time here! Especially if you want peace and tranquility. Everything is as beautiful as the photos. The owners live on the property and are very kind people who seemed genuine about wanting the best experience for us. They gave us total privacy unless we wanted to talk to them. The casita and pool are in their lush garden and the trees makes you feel you are all on your own. Our stay was 5 days and we wished we planned a longer stay. Without question, this was the best stay during our 5 week visit to Spain. Thank you so much Christa and Pascal!!Joyce and Michael, May 2025"

"Really nice place working to become top notch. Great great staff. Great food, beautiful pool and facilities. Lovely place for a relaxing country stay. Overall we had a really nice stay. Our only suggestions for improvement are that directions and signage to find the hotel are still lacking. When you are arriving on a bicycle you need more because missing a sign is a big problem. You could easily add a small drawing of a map to the email you send in advance to make this issue go away. Fix the toilette smell in the verde room. But this is a great stay. "
