Casa Rural Tajo de Gomer Riogordo by Ruralidays

Holiday home for 16 people in Riogordo, in the province of Malaga, Andalusia.

The house has seven bedrooms, four triple bedrooms with a double bed and a single bed, two double bedrooms, one with a double bed and the other with two single beds, and one bedroom with a double bed, two single beds, and a bathroom with en-suite shower. The seventh bedroom will be open from 17 persons.

It also has four interior bathrooms, all of them with a shower tray. Three are independent and one is en suite. Outside, next to the pool, there is another bathroom with a shower.

The house has a fully equipped interior kitchen, a spacious living room and is heated by central heating and air conditioning.

Outside, in addition to a porch and an outdoor kitchen, there is also a private pool with beautiful views of the mountains.

There are cameras installed in the house for your security.

Riogordo bike tour

The property was excellent, perfect remote location but close enough for supermarket supplies. Great views. Also fixtures and fittings of a very high standard,The pool / garden room was a great space to enjoy food and company.We all had a great time

Magnifique villa!

Nous avons adoré notre séjour à la villa. La villa était parfaite pour notre famille de 8 et elle pouvait clairement accueillir davantage de personnes. Le terrain est vraiment grand avec plusieurs activités à notre disposition. Les enfants, entre 7 et 12 ans ont eu beaucoup de plaisir et en ont même oublié leur tablette 🙂. La vue est juste incroyable, mais l’accès à la villa est un peu aride et le village connexe n’a pas beaucoup d’options côté nourriture.L’épicerie nous a coûté vraiment cher comparativement à d’autres endroits et les fruits et légumes n’étaient pas frais donc peu d’options. Je recommanderais de faire votre épicerie dans une autre ville sur votre chemin. En résumé, nous avons passé un excellent séjour et les hôtes étaient vraiment très gentils et aidant au besoin. Bonnes vacances!

Late September Family Stay 2023

First I'd like to thank the outstanding host, who is based in Malaga but always accessible and at your service for local information and any issues with the villa (we encountered none). He will go out of his way to help and make you feel comfortable. Moving onto the villa which is located 45mins away from Malaga Airport. I would advise hiring a car to explore the wider area. The villa is sited in the most spectacular setting we have ever stayed in. Directly facing and waking upto gorgeous limestone mountains every morning. The villa is outstanding with excellent modern facilities and air conditioning throughout. There is also a separate kitchen and dining area located next to the pool which is ideal. It keeps sleeping and living separate from cooking and living the real al fresco life. Ideally there is a barbeque placed beside the pool and eating area. The whole facilities are thoroughly well thought out. The images dont really sell the villa well enough as you cant capture the environment you will be placed in. You area surrounded by mature olive and fruit trees. This region is outstandingly beautiful. It is not overridden by tourists. It is well connected by motorways and has some spectacular drives nearby. It is central to Malaga, Granada, Cordoba and Seville. The local village, Riogordo is 5 minutes away and has 2-3 mini markets for all your groceries. Local people were also friendly. There is also a good bakery, Claudios, for daily fresh bread and cakes. Heerlijke week in Riogordo, regio Malaga

Wij hadden met het gezin, 10 volwassenen, 3 kleinkinderen een heerlijke week op deze plek. Fantastisch huis, prima voorzieningen, fijn zwembad, veel privacy voor alle gasten. Guillermo is zeer behulpzaam, attent. Hij reageert snel als je een vraag hebt. Voor herhaling vatbaar.

Wonderful family holiday home

A beautifully designed, well-appointed holiday villa with a lovely, responsive host in Guille - both of which we would recommend without hesitation. The villa actually has two buildings. In the main house is a decent sized kitchen and dining/living room, six bedrooms (one ensuite) and three other bathrooms aligned along a corridor. Everything is on ground level, very clean and comfortable. The real attraction for us, as a group of 12 adults staying in May, was the outside area. There's a separate building - virtually the size of another house - with a huge summer kitchen and spacious eating areas inside and out. There's a store-cupboard and a fifth bathroom one side, on the other is a built in barbecue and another food preparation area. This building faces south with amazing180 degree views over the surrounding hills. A thoughtful piece of design is that, even if you're sitting at the outside table with your back to the hills, you can still see them reflected in the large plate glass windows of the kitchen! For us, this shaded outside table became a constantly changing meeting place with sometimes just one or two people chatting there but, in the evenings, everyone sitting together. Perfect. Both kitchens have large fridge freezers and the summer kitchen also has a huge cool cabinet for drinks as well as a built-in ice bucket in the kitchen island. There are plenty of pots and pans - large ones that will cater for 12+ people, plus sufficient crockery and cutlery that you can have a full load in the dishwasher and still have enough to serve a meal. Guille has thoughtfully created a proper play area for little ones (swing, see-saw etc) and a table-tennis table. There are large TVs in the living room and the summer kitchen. Meanwhile, the medium-sized pool is surrounded by astroturf, sunbeds and parasols. Everything feels really spacious with lots of attention to detail to make guests feel welcome and 'at home'. The little town of Riogordo, with bars, small supermarkets, bread shops and butchers, is only a few minutes drive away but you can also walk there, via virtually unused back roads, in around 15 minutes (it's a steep walk so it takes longer coming back!!). There are other walks along the river and in the surrounding hills. Guille himself was very accommodating. He was also quick to respond over an issue with the hot water, driving all the way from Malaga as soon as we called. We would love to return one day.
