"We had a wonderful 4 weeks in Raissac D’Aude.Pet friendly and secure . Spotless linen and towels . Any query’s we had were quickly rectified by a phone call or text to Mike .We thoroughly enjoyed the very spacious accommodation and the walks and cycle rides nearby . The garden area and swimming pool was peaceful and relaxing . We definitely would recommend this house and area and hope to go back . Fiona and Graham "

"A great location to visit the surrounding area. 40 mins from Gruissan beach, Roqebrun for kayaking and cycling along the canal du midi. The table du casino is great for dinner in the village. Some constructive feedback for the owners - The pool wasn’t as clean as it should be. Where we have stayed before the pool is cleaned/hoovered on a weekly basis, by the end of the week is was rather dirty and needed a proper good clean,Also the bathrooms needed a good deep clean.A lovely house full of character. "We were an extended family of 19, ranging from 2 years to 81 years. The place is beautiful in a magnificent countryside setting. Could not fault anything really. The pool and terrace dining areas are where we spent most of our time. The weather was hot and sunny (28c to 41c) yet sleeping was comfortable with the provided fans in all rooms. Some lovely restaurants only 15 minute drive as well as supermarkets and bakers. Our contact Trinitè was very helpful.Our party are still talking about the memorial time we had."

"This was the 4th time we have stayed at Maison Candide and it was as beautiful as ever. Upon walking through the front door you are presented with a wonderful patio area and inviting pool, and everything is so beautifully maintained with wonderful flowers and grape vines.Inside has everything you could need with a well-equipped kitchen, two toilets and good wi-fi (essential with a 16 year old daughter!). We stayed during a heatwave with temperatures between 36 & 39 most days, so the air conditioning downstairs was very welcome. But otherwise we spent a lot of time in the lovely pool, just the right size for cooling off and plenty of room for the 3 of us.Roquessels itself is a delightful, quiet village, and the people are all very welcoming. Make sure you stop by Domaine des Trinities with Simon and Monica if you want to try some amazing wine!As ever, we were sad to leave and will definitely be returning again."
