Friendly welcome

Friendly and helpful welcome. We were given a room with a seating area as we arrived late afternoon. Spacious room and excellent breakfast. Quiet but overhead lights in car park shone into room at night.

Lovely little hotel

Lovely little hotel in a very quiet area, no noise from roads surrounded by fields. Very clean and spacious rooms and food good. Warm and cosy. Highly recommend

Brilliant place to stay

Everything was fantastic. We cannot fault the owners and the colleagues that took care of everything. The only minor fault, would be a lack of WiFi in the rooms we were in.

Nice Place, Nice People

The welcome I received was very friendly by all for the duration of my stay. However on the first day the hot water wouldn't work in the bathroom. I reported it and the on site plumber told me it need new parts which she ordered. On the 2nd day, nobody bothered to update me and I wasn't offered to move to a different room so I had to wash in cold water again. It was a shame really because the room and amenities, food etc are very good (You do struggle to get a wifi connection in your room). It certainly wouldn't put me off from staying again as its a lovely venue.

The people here are lovely, but the room was absolutely freezing! It was 0 degrees outside but the electric heater in the room wasn’t enough to warm the place up and the bathroom only had a towel rail resulting in that room being even colder than the bedroom. Worst element of the visit was afterwards, they couldn’t give me a receipt on check out and said they would email it, have chased 4 times over the past 2 weeks, they never answer or return messages. I really didn’t want to leave this review as the people are lovely, but I need to get their attention somehow…. If they even bother reading this.
