"The property is very remote, secluded and quiet. It is a pet friendly property that our dog very much enjoyed. For hikers this is a great location. We were very unlucky with the weather, so no fire pit or BBQing due to torrential rain (no one can control that). Amenities are solid. It is glamping. There is a gas station approx. 10 minutes away that serves some solid breakfast…Portsmouth is about 45 minutes away for some dinner options."

Perfect if you want a retreat, staying on the grounds the whole time (grounds include hot tub and fire pit, but not any big natural area). My wife and I did enjoy the house. I give the rental 4 stars because we would prefer more close by places to visit, and there were very few. The nearby brewery mentioned by the host would have been nice, but it was closed."

"Perfectly fine hotel for the area. It's a little run down but it's also in the middle of nowhere so my expectations weren't high. Its clean and the people are nice. My only complaint is that even though the hotel is non-smoking, because of my rooms location it absolutely reeked of cigarette smoke."
