"We had a small issue with our first room, that was dealt with quickly and efficiently, with a very generous upgrade to a Superior Junior Suite, which was very welcome. I'd give the breakfast 10/10 as well - absolutely not to be missed. Great to support an independent hotel as well. Highly recommended."

"Room did not seem used for a while. Dead flies & cobwebs on the windowsill. Unfortunately very busy hotel. Breakfast good on first morning but only one waitress looking after busy restaurant on the second. Had to wait for table to be cleared. No clean tables available . No fresh fruit. All croissants gone & no pastries left . Told no more available . Had to wait 40 minutes before cooked breakfast served. Not impressed. Food in bar really good in the evening. Good value for money. Ladies in the bar very friendly & couldn’t do enough to help."
