"The Wellesley was a lovely resort where the staff are trying their best and meals are lovely however the rooms are quite basic and could be cleaner. It’s great if you are looking to detach from technology and just enjoy the beach, but it is quite far from anything else and there isn’t much cell service. All in all if you’re looking for a private small getaway it’s a nice place to stay. "

"A lovely and well presented set of villas right next to spa, dining, groceries and fuel. Across the road from beach with some additional on beach facilities. Nice big pool and quite deep. Great for tall people but requires watchful eye on kids. A very nice balance of local and tourist community. "

"Beautifully maintained grounds and facilities, private beach with snorkeling, swimming, surfing and sea kayaking off the beach. Wonderful vibe: young travelers and families, respectful and friendly guests. Very friendly and helpful staff. Stayed with family in Garden Hut. Very clean room, firm but very comfortable mattress (queen bed) softer twin mattresses (2) were adequate for kids. Free continental breakfast is sparse but adequate (toast, jam, bananas, coffee, cereal, yogurt). Heartier lunch is available for purchase. Pizzas were great but took >30 min to prepare (Fiji time!). This was the best place we stayed at in Viti Levu. Would definitely stay here again and highly recommend. "

"My sister and I truly enjoyed our one-week stay at Fiji Hideaway. We especially appreciated the peaceful atmosphere and the absence of a television in the room—it gave us the perfect opportunity to fully disconnect and relax. The hotel's beachfront location was ideal for early morning walks, and the overall environment was both serene and refreshing. The entire staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, which made our stay even more enjoyable."

"Liked the place and if ever in Fiji again this is a place I would book again. Great service, enjoyed all my meals there, and prices were good. Meals come to you right on time and you get flexibility on where you want to have your meal. The hotel has coral reef right at its shore, lots of fish to see and beautiful coral. Some reviews mention rocks, but is more like coral off the shore. Let’s just say if you snorkel there, there is no need to book another expensive snorkeling outing. All round recommendation from me."

"Our time at the Wellesley was my favourite part about our trip to Fiji. The room was gorgeous, spacious, clean with all the amenities you could need. The resort as a whole was breathtaking, with incredibly meticulous tropical landscaping and a view of the reef from the pool and restaurant that would make you shed a tear at dinner time. But all of that was shadowed by the elite level service we recieved by the staff on site. The chef, Raj, took in to consideration our vegetarian dietary requirements and stunned us with mouth watering food everyday. No meal was exactly the same - a true master of his craft. The wait staff Loslini and Andi "
