"The facilities are great but the way they run them is terrible. In house restaurant is unbelievably slow, plan at least 1h per course, if you get it at all. If you eat outdoors, expect to be surrounded by pigeons.
You can't use the spa if your swim suit isn't tight enough for the staff to see your balls, and if you didn't book spa access in advance, you need to pay twice: 45 euros for the evening you arrive, and another 45 euros for the next morning if you want to use it before check out, because they charge by calendar day. And you can't use the pool at 1st may weekend, one of their busiest times, because they only open it 3 days later.
Our dining experience: We were 4 adults with 3 kids under 5 between us. Staff were good at helping with seating arrangements, but oblivious to the fact that families don't want a 4h dining experience. We got the house 3 course menu, main course showed up 1.5h in, after that they left us staring at our empty plates for over half an hour with no desert in sight. Kids in our party got increasingly cranky (they were good for 2h, but the waiters went AWOL), so had to leave and haggle with manager over bill. Not what you expect from a hotel that is supposed to help people relax.
Only positive things i can say is breakfast is good and rooms are clean. That would be ok for a 2* business hotel, but in a 4* Wellness hotel you expect the other stuff to work too."
