Second time staying here. Location is great...close to hospital, restaurants, shopping. The MCM vibe is fantastic and the hotel has been completely renovated for the decor...well done. Clean, well appointed and we especially love that you can pull right up to your room. That's something that's missing from modern day hotels...convenience. Pool looked inviting and office is cute with some shirts and merchandise to purchase. There's also a small lounge area and they have coffee available in mornings. Overall, this is one of our favorite stays in the area and we will return.

Our stay here was absolutely wonderful! The place was clean and fresh. They had all these little nice things for us in the room. The beds were comfortable. We will make this a go to spot when in this area traveling again. Very good value.

Such a nice stay. The room was very clean and new. The shower was not only beautiful but the water pressure was fantastic. It was also very quiet. My only complaint was the bed was really firm. Other than that it’s a great place to stay.

This renovated property is clean, well appointed, and overall a great value and great place to stay. We met both the owner and manager; you can tell how serious they both are about customer service and the brand they've created at the colony house. If you enjoy attention to detail, great location in Roanoke, and staff that care about what they're doing, stay here. We would stay again of on the area!

This establishment was the best. The staff are extremely friendly, accommodating, knowledgeable and resourceful. The grounds were immaculate and the room was extremely clean, very nicely decorated and had everything we needed. We would fully recommend staying at the Lodge and would stay there again.

This is a wonderful place to stay close in to all of the places to see in Roanoke, VA. The staff was top-notch, the room was clean and fresh, the shower was strong and pleasant, and the bed was comfortable. The staff did everything right to make sure we had what we needed. Thank you so much!

The stay was phenomenal, phenomenal, phenomenal, phenomenal, phenomenal and phenomenal. I absolutely loved it. The aesthetics and ambience was everything I needed for the trip that I was on. It really made me want to just sit in the room and chill. It is perfect for longer stays like 5 to 7+ days. Especially if you get the two room suite!! The Customer Service is Chick-fil-A level and beyond; where my pleasure doesn’t need to actually be said, it shows in the actions and non-verbal body cues of the employees. This will be my go to hotel every time I visit Southern, Virginia.
