Spotless clean, excellent service, and tasteful rooms in a scenic little town with few tourists. Ideal for day trips to Asti, Alba, Fossano, Cuneo, and other culturally relevant sites in the Piemonte. We fell in love with Mondovi, its excellent restaurants, and the calm genius loci. "Raffaella was an absolute pleasure, so helpful and charming. The property was just what we were hoping for with its accessibility to the various locales in the Piemonte area. The breakfast was delicious and the staff was delightful in the service of the meal. I can’t say enough about this reservation and how wonderful it was. I would highly recommend it to everyone."

"I only rated this property a 4 because of the mattress, pillows and shower stall. The property is beautiful, well maintained and has stunning views! Breakfast was good and part of the room stay. A small complimentary bottle of wine is given to guests on day of arrival but there is no complimentary water. The beds were not comfortable. You could feel the wire coil springs when you lay down. The pillows are flat, so if you’re used to a soft pillow there are none. July is a very hot time of year and the room we stayed in was very warm (25 Celsius which is about 77 Degrees in F). There are too many mosquitoes to open windows to let cooler air in the evening. We had personal portable fans which we used to try to keep cool. We only stayed 2 nights so it was somewhat bearable. We did love the area. The hotel sits at the top of the mountain so definitely wear comfortable shoes to walk the hilly cobblestone paths"

"Lovely hotel with magnificent views of the surrounding vineyards. The breakfast was great and dinner at Le Corte was delicious. Jane was incredibly efficient and friendly and helped with reservations ( all were very good) and served us good coffee and eggs each morning. It is a small boutique hotel and we really appreciated the personalized service. Recommend the wine tasting with Gabriele, it was interesting and very authentic."
