In the most astonishing mountain panorama, here is the most extraordinary place that simply eclipses normal accolades. Superb, tastefully furnished accommodation, sparklingly even clean every window was simply dazzlingly spotless, fast continuous internet and once in a lifetime breakfast, (I mean a fully loaded version with everything). Even hot croissants. And the hosts are kind and engagingly gregarious. Medals all round!"

"An absolute find in this beautiful part of the Karoo. The atmosphere and style is that of a traditional Game Lodge. The food is excellent with a team to match. There are several designated walks within the estate for all levels of ability. The one thing we noticed is how immaculately clean the whole place was, with the pool being the cleanest we've experienced throughout our travels in SA. The only downside is that there is no A/C in the bedrooms (there's a ceiling fan), which can make it a little hot during the night. I guess one could open the windows and allow the air in, but the mosquitos tend to come along too."

"This is one of my favourite places near Robertson. Beautiful setting with a little pond you can overlook from the bar. In the evening phantastic atmosphere and vwry peaceful. Also the staff very friendly and I received an excellent breakfast. Had been here before when it still was Rosendal Winery. Now new owners who have some excellent ideas how to develop the place. I really enjoyed the discussion with them. Hope to come back one day and see the further development"
