"We had a wonderful stay at the Meadmore cottage on Hartwell Lake. The property is beautiful. The cottage is so clean and decorated nicely. We had six adults and my thrèe year old granddaughter. The cottage is safe for children and has three full baths. The owner, Doug is so nice and very accommodating. We could only stay two nights due to prior scheduling. We will definitely return to the same cottage. I recommend leaving a down payment as early as possible. This cottage already has most of the summer booked! I highly recommend this cottage. I found it on VRBO. On a scale of 1-10, I give it 100! Yup 100!!!! Thank you Doug for making our mini vacation fabulous 👌 😎"

"The home and its location were exceptional. The climate controls worked perfectly and the kitchen was fully stocked. The only issue we had was with a separate ice maker that did not seem to function fully, but there was additional ice provided in the freezer that more than made up for that. "

" We had a lovely stay in this nice home on Lake Hartwell. We were very busy so we didn't spend much time there, but the time we did was nice and relaxing. There were so many beautiful and musical birds in the backyard trees! The home was very clean and neat. We had everything we needed in the kitchen, and the ice machine on the counter was fun to use.The bedrooms could use an extra blanket as the bedspreads are thin. Bathrooms were great.The house is in a perfect location! Nice and quiet on the lake, and the neighbors are not on top of you. It would be great to come back and enjoy in the summer for fishing and kayaking.The only thing I would suggest to consider is a handrail to go up the front steps. They are very deep and can be a struggle for anyone not completely able. We loved it, and loved Hartwell! Thank you for opening your home! "

"Loved it! Beautiful house with a wonderful porch! We used the firepit one evening and of course the pickle ball court! Very comfortable bed in the primary suite. "
