"Beautiful location and wonderful hosts, but some room for improvement!We enjoyed our stay at this beautiful waterfront property. The home was clean, spacious enough for our family, and offered a lovely dock with boats that were well-maintained and ready to use. The indoor and outdoor kitchen areas were great for gathering.The hosts were attentive, communicative, and accommodating with our dogs. Their property website was incredibly helpful, and the minimal checkout requirements made departure stress-free.A few things fell short, especially considering the price. The dining table seated eight but only had five chairs. The dated sectional offered almost no support, causing back discomfort, and constantly separated while sitting. The beds varied significantly in comfort. One was so firm that a family member slept in a lounge chair, while another was noticeably angled.Some basic conveniences were also missing. The mudroom had no coat hooks, and the first-floor bathroom had a partially functioning showerhead with nowhere to hang towels or clothing. A few hooks would have made a big difference! The kitchen could have used additional essentials, and there was no iron. We also found considerable dog waste in the backyard upon arrival.Overall, we appreciated the beautiful setting and excellent hospitality, but for the cost, the comfort and amenities didn't quite meet expectations. A few thoughtful improvements would make a big difference!"

"2 couples shared this property for 3 nights for the Roe Jan Ramble event. My husband and I took the ground level bedroom. We had our own spacious room and a full bathroom. The shower operated very well. Good bath mat and towels. The other couple took the bedroom on the main floor so they did not have to use stairs. The dishwasher in the kitchen was a big plus as we cooked 2 nights. It took a few attempts to figure out how to turn the washer on. The main seating area and dining area were comfortable. Very good utensils, steak knives and dishes. The house was very clean and had good closet/storage space. The driveway was a little curvy . I'm glad I brought my car instead of the Ford 150. The house had a good amount of space for 4 people. It was nice to be able to walk out to the deck. Javier was in touch and helpful."

"Long weekend getaway celebrating a 60th bday. Kids had a blast kayaking, fishing and enjoying the large yard. The house was perfect accommodating all 10 of us! Plenty of space for ever. Having 2 stoves with ovens was a bonus!"
