"The rooms were spacious but we had to change rooms because of a problem with the shower. Breakfast was excellent. Staff were extremely helpful and friendly, especially Auriele at reception. Free parking was nice."

"The staff are lovely and try to answer all of your questions. They even played along as I tried to speak French. They will let you store your luggage, if you arrive early or are leaving late. The location is perfect. It is a straight 800 metre walk from Avignon Centre train station. You are 100 metres from the main square and 250 from the Palace of the Popes. The breakfast is very nice. It is buffet style with fresh bread and pastries, juice, yogurt and a nice coffee machine that makes many types of drinks. The rooms are tired, but the beds and bedding is very comfortable. It’s an old French hotel, so the elevator is tiny and there are lots of stairs. A genuinely nice spot."

"The grounds and surrounding view are distinguishing. The staff couldn’t have been more helpful. The room was serene and well appointed. Breakfast was superb, but dinner service was slow. Coquillade lives up to Relais & Chateau’s reputation. This was my second visit from the US to the hotel. and I’d happily return."

"Fantastic. The house is located in the old part of the village, a little way up the hill. It’s beautifully furnished, and it has everything you need. The pool is in the courtyard—it’s not huge, but with temperatures at 35 degrees and higher, it’s perfect for cooling off. The only thing I really missed was information about trash and the Wi-Fi password, but that was okay because Alexandre gave us the necessary info right away. Maybe just put a note up somewhere. I’ll definitely be back. Thanks, Alexandre!"
