"We were a party of 13 comprising 3 separate families. Beautiful villa in fabulous location in centre of town which was a hidden gem with numerous excellent restaurants and a huge market on Wednesday mornings. Great base for exploring the area and lots of different spots to sit and hang out including a delightful terrace. "Schöne gepflegte Anlage mit täglichem Sportprogramm gleich nebenan. Interieur mit Charme zum Alten/Gebrauchten. Wasser auch in der Wand. Gemeinschaftspool und -saune zum Verweilen mit den anderen Gästen die im Obergeschoss wohnen, sowie der Vermieter die gleich nebenan gut und schnell zu erreichen sind, sollte mal was nicht funktionieren. "The property is not walking distance to Castro as described. This should be removed from the description as you need a car to to anywhere. It has lovely views but for the price lacks the higher end facilities that we would expect e.g. the kitchen had many appliances but most were old and could do with replacing. There was ample linen though the towels were not very hard. Outside the small pool had only 2 sun beds both of which had seen better days. For a 4 bed villa 2 beds were not sufficient...

"We had the most wonderful time here. We were greeted by the hosts, who were both very welcoming and showed us around in great detail. Everywhere was clean and tidy and the pool was cleaned daily. We really felt at home, we took great pleasure in using the BBQ in the evenings and enjoyed the warm evenings. Definitely going to be visiting again. "We loved the house:it is a perfect size for a family of 4 but the most wonderful is the very big garden and the pool(the pool was a little bit cold but it was perfect for the weather) the house had everything we needed and the owners were very welcoming and friendly."

"Beautiful home. It was beyond our expectations. Host was gracious, readily available for any concerns, and was able to make our stay as comfortable as possible. We had a wonderful time in a beautiful historic palatial home situated in a beautiful village. The gardens are beautiful and the pool was fabulous and perfect end to each day."

"Große geräumige und saubere Unterkunft , jedoch sind die Badezimmer nicht vollwertig ausgestattet. Es gibt nur ein Badezimmer mit Dusche. Das untere Bad im EG. hatte eine winzige Badewanne mit einer Mulde die als Dusche fungiert, leider roch es dort unangenehm. Das Dritte, leider nur ein Gäste Bad ohne Dusche. Obwohl die Kapazitäten für den Einbau einer Dusche vorhanden sind. Die sanitären Objekte sind veraltet, die Armaturen alle stark verkalkt und verrostet. Ansonsten war alles okay....

"Our room was very clean and unique. The air conditioning was excellent. Gianluca, our host /owner was very informative and attentive to our needs. He recommended excellent nearby restaurants and he made reservations for our first evening having just arrived. His sisters made us a delicious and sustainable breakfast every morning with fresh fruit, yogurt, juice, a selection of pastries and breads, eggs and a selection of meats and cheeses and cappuccinos . It was an enjoyable, restful stay. I should mention it was a 5 minute walk to the entrance of the old town where the sites, shopping and other eateries are located. Very safe area!!!!"
