We considered staying in Paestum to be close to the great temples but knowing that La Mortella was only 20 minutes away convinced us to try something different during our Italia tour. "Wonderful quiet location with views of the mountains! Owner and staff were gracious and helpful. Room clean and comfortable. Breakfast was excellent with plenty of food. Good place to base yourself out of to explore the area, including the ruins at Paestum. "
