"We thought the host was exceptional. Very friendly and helpful. Wanting to please and help any way she could. We had to arrive late and she waited for us to arrive. Our room was very clean as was the bathroom. She did offer to wash up some clothes for us as we are traveling on the road. I did notice the laundry as one of the amenities however to us that means an available washed and dryer to use. Understanding now here in Italy that means a washing machine and hang to dry. "Francesco and Melissa were great hosts in this stunning house. They gave us loads of information on where to go during the days and where to eat in the evenings (excellent restaurant every time). The breakfast was nice and beautifully prepared, like everything else they did (attention to detail was perfect). "When we arrived we were shown a room about 20 sq m. We had reserved an apartment room 55 sq m, with full kitchen. After showing them my reservation I was told the room wasn't available because they were under reservation. The whole front of the building is scaffolded and looks like it has been like this fir awhile. We had to find another place in the evening as we had food that would spoil. My advise.DO NOT STAY HERE. "

"When I arrived 4pm there no one at the restaurant I have to get the help from coffee shop opposite to call them up and waited half an hour. Later the restaurant reopen til midnight. It was Maundy Thursday the street was packed to enter the church, i couldn’t drive to the castle sq, not a free parking area, I have drive a further 100 m. The room on a narrow back street . Could nt use the tv, depleted battery controller. I was greeted by a handsome young man who can speak English "

"Eine sehr schöne und gepflegte Unterkunft, die wohl mit sehr viel Leidenschaft gebaut und angelegt wurde. Für Ruhe und Erholung eine sehr gute Wahl. Besitzer und Vita jederzeit erreichbar. Wir haben uns alle (4Erwachsene und drei Kinder) sehr wohl gefühlt und sollte das Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis beibehaltet werden, auch gerne nochmals kommen ???? M.A."

"Trullo Dolce was and excellent choice for our family holiday to Puglia. From booking to arrivals and communications, the whole process was seamless. Hazel was in touch in good time before we arrived and met us at the Trullo with all the details about the Trullo and tips on Puglia.The trullo sits in its own grounds so it really is an oasis in the Puglia countryside with plenty of parking space. The drive up is a little narrow but the back lanes are just typical of Puglia.The villa is lovely and clean, there is a well stocked kitchen and and there is tv, good sound system and a Bluetooth speaker for your own outdoor entertainment.The rooms were comfy and spacious and the beds were a good size.The gem is the private pool and loungers which made the outdoor space just perfect. Overall, we would highly recommend Trullo Dolce and we will definitely be back to Puglia in the future."

"The Feudi Mandolivo estate is lovely and run by the helpful and friendly Gino. If there is availability and you have the budget, book one of the two trulli apts. The other apts are nice but quite quite standard. The check-in process could be improved. We pressed the buzzer at the entrance gates, and they opened but no-one spoke. It was confusing to find where to go once inside the gate and after sitting outside the breakfast area for a while, drove up the hill and sat there. Eventually a woman came out and told us we needed to await Gino’s arrival. In the end we spotted the key was in the apt door so we let ourselves in, changed into our costumes and went and found the pool. The room was fine, although we had asked for a separate bed for my adult son and they provided a rock solid futon which was very uncomfortable. The setting helped make up for the shortcomings. The pool is lovely, pool towels were provided and breakfast down the hill was in a lovely setting overlooking the trulli buildings. Gino was friendly and welcoming. He very kindly posted back our hotel keys to the previous location as we had accidentally come away with them. We were very grateful for this."
