Family house in the setting of Royans Vercors

  • You dream of holidays in the countryside in your family home, we invite you to "Giraudiaire" for a week or more!
    You will occupy the ground floor of a detached house in the property of your hosts (the floor of the house is unoccupied).
    The space made available is 90 sqm divided into four rooms: a kitchen / dining room, two bedrooms and a large living room with direct access to shady garden with terrace.
    The kitchen includes: fridge-freezer, oven, microwave, hob, coffee maker, electric kettle, toaster, dishwasher, washing machine and dryer.
    The first bedroom has a double bed in 140 and the second is equipped with two 90 beds can be pushed together or apart.
    In the garden - independent of your host - you will find a flowery space with stunning views of the cliffs of Vercors. It is equipped with deckchairs, table, chairs and barbecue.
    You can choose between relaxation and discovery of Royans Vercors.
    Nearby you will have:
    - Shops, Bank ATM, Supermarkets (3 km)
    - Sports: swimming, tennis, horse riding, mountain biking, hiking, climbing, skiing, etc.
    - Cultural activities (within 20 km): museums, caves and natural heritage sites, etc.

    Background:
     - The cottage is scheduled for 4 people.
    - Linen can be supplied as an option, the products necessary for the maintenance of a home are offered.
    - You can if you want to put your car away.
    - We can not accommodate pets in the cottage.
    - Access: TGV station of Valencia in 20 minutes. Exit the A49 "La Baume d'Hostun" 10 min. Cities of Valencia, 39 km, Romans-sur-Isère, 22 km, 65 km Grenoble.
    -The Arrivals and departures are on Saturdays priority but may be modified in agreement with the owner.

Beautiful setting

The Gite is located in a peaceful setting 2 miles outside of Saint Jean en Royans. The private garden offers fantastic views towards the Vercors plateaux while birds of prey circle above and other wildlife pass close by. It is a perfect place to enjoy the end of the day with a glass of wine. Inside the Gite contains everything you need is clean and as avert used and shown in the photos. It is spacious for four people. We would not hesitate to stay there again should we visit the area again.

Charmante maison ancestrale, propre et bien entretenue. Accueil chaleureux de la propriétaire. Nous avons bien profité du jardin et de la vue imprenable sur les collines et la vallée. Logement bien situé, à proximité des services et des commerces.

Maison de charme paisible et authentique parfaite pour 4. Dotée de tout le confort nécessaire et avec une vue à couper le souffle dont on ne se lasse pas, elle est Idéalement située pour visiter le Vercors. Tout est à 5’ en voiture (supermarché, boulangerie, commerces…).Et cerise sur le gâteau, la propriétaire est adorable et très serviable.Bref, nous avons adoré notre séjour !!!

Très agréable séjour dans un charmant et calme gîte.

La maison est très sympa. Son jardin magnifique. Notre hôtesse fut charmante, accueillante et très compréhensive. Tout y est dans la maison on ne manque de rien. Et surtout tout est calme et volupté dans ce très joli coin du Vercors ! .

Vercors stay

This is a classic farmhouse property on a hillside close to St Jean en Vercor. The large terrace was wonderful for eating out al fresco with a stunning view of walnut orchards and distant mountains. The house is old with authentic French furnishing but mod cons. Will definitely return if we can.

Sehr netter Empfang. Wir haben uns hier sofort sehr wohl gefühlt. Ein phantastischer Kurzurlaub.

Wir haben in diesem tollen Haus als Familie eine Woche verbracht. Sofort haben wir uns wohl gefühlt. Der Empfang war sehr herzlich. Das Haus ist sehr charmant, gemütlich und mit allem nötigsten komplett ausgestattet. Viele familiere Raritäten sind wunderbar erhalten, was das Haus zu etwas ganz besonderem macht und was man wirklich kaum noch woanders erlebt. Absolut ruhige unberührte Umgebung lässt Einen glauben, man ist im Paradies auf der Erde. Außer Vögel hört man nichts und man ist weit von allem Gewimmel einer Großstadt. Trotzdem ist man in einigem Minuten Autofahrt beim Bäcker, Metzger oder einem Supermarkt. Einmal pro Woche ist im Dorf ein Wochenmarkt, wo man regionale Späzialitäten und sogar hausgemachte Naturkosmetik bekommt. Im Dorf ist eine absolut bemerkenswerte ca. 1000 Jahre alte Festung zu besuchen. Auch das drunderliegende Museum verrät viel über Geschichte diesen Dorfes. Die Privatfürung durch das Museum durch unsere Vermieterin, Madam Derbier, fanden wir sehr spannend, war auch für die Kinder sehr interressant. Dafür möchten wir uns extra bedanken. In der Umgebung ist sehr viel zu erleben. Die nah liegende kleine Städte sind auf jedem Fall ein Besuch wert. Die Grotte de Chorance, Pont-en-Royans, Valence und vieles mehr. Die schöne Auszeit in diesem wunderbaren Haus haben wir jeden Augenblick genossen und es fiel uns nur schwer es wieder zu verlassen. Wir würden sehr gerne wiederkommen.

Parfait

Cette jolie maison est conforme aux photos. La cour est magnifique et l'ombre des arbres appréciable. La vue est superbe, on ne s'en lasse pas, le calme presque absolu,quelques vaches de ci de là. Les paysages de cette région sont grandioses et les randonnées y sont nombreuses. Les propriétaires charmants et attentionnés Bref que du bonheur.

Trés agréable séjour en Royans

Papy, Mamy avec leurs deux petits enfants (6 et 11 ans) ont passé un excellent séjour ! Nous avons rayonné depuis ce confortable gite vers les beautés du Vercors, pratiqué des activités variées pour tous les âges (Accro-branche, visite de grotte, bateau "à roue", ballades pédestres...). Rentré le soir nous avons bénéficié d'un gite très bien équipé dans une atmosphère chaleureuse et reposante. Un site idéal pour venir à 4 profiter du Royans et donc du Vercors. Séjour inoubliable dans le Vercors

Séjour vacances de la Toussaint du 19/10 au 27/10. Deux enfants/ deux adultes. Excellente expérience que cette première approche du Vercors avec comme camp de base cette chaleureuse maison à la fois fonctionnelle et confortable dans laquelle on se sent de suite chez soi. Accueil attentionné de nos hôtes; fleurs , confiture, noix, et discrétion absolue. Propreté impeccable. La propriété se trouve à flanc de coteau et domine plusieurs plantations de noyers, production locale de la région... Nombreux itinéraires pédestres alentours d'un accès immédiat. Aucune nuisance automobile, et partout la beauté des couleurs de l'automne et du soleil. Endroit parfait pour un retour aux sources et découvrir le reste du pays. Nous ne manquerons pas de revenir en d'autres saisons,...., Benoit et Nathalie
