It’s a very traditional place in terms of decor but everything was immaculate and well looked after - our room was really spacious and even had an exercise bike which we weren’t expecting! "Some rooms only have partial lift access, so you may need to manually carry your luggage up a flight of stairs or so - but it’s a great, economical base in Basel that’s totally worth the effort. The room is pop-modern, simple but clean and highly functional layout, with a comfortable pillow and duvet and thoughtful amenities that make you feel well looked after without excess. The staff are very professional and friendly, assisting with check-in, and self-checkout is available via the email notification you receive. I’d be very happy to book again."
