Mayo-Convenient

We've made a number of trips to Rochester over the past 15 years. What remains true is that even during the current road construction, street closure(s), and detours this property is the most ideal and convenient lodging option that consistently checks all our boxes.Thanks again for another wonderful five-star stay!

Cozy, elegant, perfect location

We needed a place where we could walk to the Mayo clinic and St Mary’s, and this was absolutely perfect. It was clean and elegantly renovated, but still felt cozy. Tim was very responsive and so helpful when we needed to extend our reservation. Will definitely book again for our next visit.

Ideal for Mayo

This was an ideal place to stay for us, while a family member was at the Mayo at Saint Mary’s. It felt like being at home. Tim was an exceptionally accommodating host.

Perfect location; walk to Mayo Clinic and close to Kutzkty Park for a daily run. We loved the charm and warmth of a well kept older home.

Very charming

Totally enjoyed. We traveled from Florida to Rochester to have a early Thanksgiving celebration with our son who works at Mayo. Dinning room was perfect for a nice meal. These guys do a great job with details. Thankyou! We will book again when visiting Lance.

Perfect for our Family

We booked this listing because it was within walking Distance to both Mayo campuses. Also close to restaurants and grocery store. We had a family member who had surgery and then recovery for a week in the hospital. The location was perfect to allow family members to visit and spend a night or two. The house is very well appointed and the host was very responsive during our stay. I would rent the house again without hesitation.

Excellent location for our stay. Very close to Mayo Clinic and dozens of good restaurants.. The home is old but in very good condition. The kitchen is stocked with dishes, cooking utensils, condiments and coffee. The owner is very accessible to answer questions that may come up. We plan to return for future appointments.

Nice house in Rochester, Minnesota

Accurate listing - no regrets! This house was perfect for our short stay in Rochester. Highly recommended. Tim was easy to reach via messaging through the VRBO app. I understand he lives nearby, but thankfully we had no reason for him to stop by.

This charming property was very clean and comfortable. It was we well stocked with everything we needed. the fenced in back yard the deck and sunroom was perfect for out family! The location was perfect for our Mayo appointments. A 15 minute walk straight to the Mayo downtown campus! Would definitely would recommend renting this property. The host was very quick to respond to any questions. Also, the neighborhood felt very safe.

Key-pad locking

I needed more education on the key-pad lock on the side door. I didnt realize it auto locked. On the first night I turned the switch before going to bed. I thought I was locking the deadbolt, but then when I left the house in the am, I couldn’t get the door locked from the outside. It was a large learning curve for me. It’s a lovely home and I enjoyed my stay.

Short stay for the Mayo Clinic

My sister and I stayed for 4 nights to get testing done at the Mayo Clinic. It is literally just down the very street the house is on. It is newly remodeled but has classic charm Lots of room for sure the only inconvenience was the only bathroom is in the second floor with the bedrooms. This is nice for during the night but a little inconvenient for restroom runs during the day. Overall absolutely loved it. 2 large porches/patios to enjoy the nice weather we had. Lots of little extras and lots of dishes and cooking utensils. We would absolutely stay again. 6 stars. ( management was also very responsive to any questions we had!)

Super comfortable!

We stayed while my adult daughter had a full week worth of appointments at Mayo. It was so comfortable and homey. She was able to have her own space for napping. I was able to walk easily to the small grocery store. We walked to Mayo and St. Mary’s but sometimes took uber. The home was nicely stocked with high quality supplies. It was great to have pryex to store leftover food in. The owners also reached out to check on us after some severe weather. I felt very safe in this home and walking in the neighborhood. We will definitely rebook if we end up back at Mayo.

Comfortable and Convenient

My family and I came to Rochester for my son’s first round of follow-up appointments and scans after having surgery for his cancer. We were able to easily walk to all of his appointments at the Mayo Clinic buildings. Your home provided a home away from home for us during this anxious time. We were able to relax and were very comfortable. The bedrooms were all nicely decorated and beds were very comfortable. The bathroom was updated and very nice. The kitchen was equipped with anything and everything we could possibly need. We really enjoyed all the board games. We played one, or two everyday. We will definitely stay here again for future visits.

Enjoyed our stay at Tim's house

Tim’s heritage home is a lovely rental house in a safe area of Rochester, with a 6 minute walk to St Mary’s/Mayo Clinic campus and a 16 minute walk to Mayo Clinic downtown campus. We usually walked downtown but on rainy days used Uber a few times. Check-in was very easy and Tim’s instructions and communication were excellent.The 2 of us were very comfortable in this homey 3 bedroom, 1 bathroom house. It was wonderful to return home each day after appointments at Mayo. The house was very clean, well equipped and the king bed was comfortable. We enjoyed having a rental car to explore the area as well as restaurants and the available parking was great. We highly recommend Tim’s house.
