"It was perfect for us… our standards are not very high.. cooking essentials comfy bed & hot shower.. that’s our expectations, deer, chipmunks, turkeys are all great to see we have plenty being from northern Minnesota, the coolest thing was last night a mountain cat was in the driveway when we came back from dinner…..there was a request to sign the guest book but didn’t find it…."

"We had a wonderful week at this cabin exploring the black hills! Cozy cabin that is fairly secluded. Beautiful views with deer in the meadow daily. Hot tub was wonderful once we got the water hotter. Outdoor gas fireplace was very soothing. We had trouble with the lock but the property management was quick to respond. Shelves in the master bedroom suite were dusty but otherwise very clean. No cell service but did have WiFi. Fairly central location to explore everything. Not a lot of options for...

"We came out for we a week with family and friends to see the sites and ride the trails in the area. The house was a great place to stay and in the middle of the sites. Easy riding to the trails and getting to Sturgis or the monuments. Parking the trailers were possible and required some backing skills."

"Absolutely amazing experience at the cabin. In early June the sleeping porch was perfect for kids, nice and cool in the evening. There were plenty of warm blankets available to use, and the queen bed on the porch had a privacy curtain which was a nice touch for adults staying out there. There was so much history about the cabin and the valley available to read, which was very fun. Kitchen was well stocked, grill was easy to use, and everything went smoothly. We had one question about the shower...

"I had my 90 year old Mother, 2 children and 5 Grandchildren out for some quality family time together so we could also attend my niece’s wedding and this property was perfect to accommodate our needs. The kitchen was fully stocked so we could make family meals. The bunk room was a hit for the littles. The Clubhouse was a bonus, allowing us some on site activities as well as the ability to take in local trails, the Opera House and we frequented some businesses in Lead. I highly recommend it!"

Each cabin has a parking area, a small back deck with a picnic table, and a fire pit with seating around it, perfect for marshmallow roasting after dark. The cabin we stayed in was perfect for our needs. "
