Lodges in Rochford District

"Our stay was fine for the short time we were there as a place to lay our heads but for the price we paid I was a little disappointed. In all honesty The beds felt like a horse has broken them in, we have all woken up with sore backs today so definitely need adjusting (or even a mattress topper) the curtains were very thin so we were all woken up with the light first thing which was also frustrating as we wanted to make the most of the rest. "Lovely quiet stay, pet friendly, nothing to fault here. Thank you"

"We stayed in late July at this property and had the most amazing time. The property and site in general boasts great amenities and facilities. There was nothing open on the site which we didn’t know about. I think it’s overpriced for nothing to do there."

Modern and clean but a couple of issues - like oven not even wired in; no table to eat off; and also whilst we booked for 3 adults and was confirmed; they called to say max was 2 adults & a child and would not refund the extra £50 for the 3rd adult (who couldn't now come of course) and I had to go through Expedia to get resolved. Hope these...

"Quite site good for a short break away, east access to nice walk along the beach."
