Love the Lighthouse!

Everything was top notch — clean, comfortable, upscale — close to EVERYTHING in Rock Hall! We really enjoyed the place and “doing nothing” with lots of time to RELAX!! Hosts were easy to contact and very responsive…great time spent in the Lighthouse!

NEW YEARS EVE

We stayed at the light house for three nights in celebration of the new year, 2025. It was a work vacation involving winter covering of our sailboats as well as celebrating the new year. We thoroughly enjoyed our time together and will come here again.

A Perfect 50th Birthday Celebration

The Lighthouse was perfect for my daughter's 50th on Easter weekend. Comfortable beds with privacy for two generations. The weather was perfect, the eagles were fishing at the Nature Preserve and the osprey were busy building nests in the Marsh. Great location for walking in Rock Hall, full of amenities for a comfortable, enjoyable stay.

Super cool space to relax and call home base

We brought our 3 kids to stay in rock hall for a family birthday party nearby. We wish we had stayed longer to enjoy the house and the area! In addition to being a really interesting house, it was comfortable and fully loaded with amenities. The linens and towels were abundant and clean; and the kitchen had everything you could want in a home away from Home. The hosts left detailed information and were very communicative when we had questions. Definitely will seek out this property next time we are in the area.

Beautiful Natural area

The 3 story home shaped like a lighthouse is beautifully decorated, clean, comfortable, and situated on s lovely property on a quiet road. The owners left a well organized notebook that included tips for activities, restaurants, and guides for the home ( thermometers, etc). Sheets, towels, even wine and condiments were provided. Both couples agreed we would like to return. Thanks to the owners for all you did to make this serene weekend possible.

Beautiful well-maintained home

We enjoyed staying at the lighthouse! Although it rained most of the time, it was a cozy place to play games, watch football, and reconnect with family. The home is spotless and the kitchen is very well stocked (although we didn’t cook). Maybe we missed it, but we had a hard time figuring out the TV- instructions would have been great. I really appreciated the elevator as the living space is on the top floor. We had dinner at the Blue Heron down the street which had great food and a good atmosphere for groups with young children, and the pizza from Rock City was great. It was a wonderful weekend and we hope to visit again!

Relaxing stay in a lovely, quiet, fun house

We planned a quick getaway with our three adult children before our oldest gets married in early August. The Lighthouse was the perfect spot for us. It has a lot of natural light and all the kitchen equipment we needed during our brief stay. The beds were all comfortable and it was nice to have three full bathrooms. It is close to the road but quiet throughout and it’s fun to watch people go by from the wrap around deck. If stairs aren’t your thing, this might not be the place for you but we liked the exercise. Rock Hall’s town sign says, “A place where nice people live” and that was definitely our impression as we walked, biked and drove around the town. There is a nice small public beach that we enjoyed walking to. The Muskrat Cafe is within easy walking distance and has very good breakfast options. The Harbor Shack is also within walking distance, at least for us, and has the best crab sandwich my husband has ever eaten (he grew up in Connecticut so he knows crab). If you are there in the early part of the week, you may find some places closed as we did, but that just made for an even quieter stay which is what we were looking for.

The most beautiful and unique property I have ever stayed in. Our family gathered here to celebrate three birthdays, and we were all enchanted with the space. The beach was beautiful, the local grocery has the best crab for crabcakes, and Watermans has a gorgeous view. Can't wait to come back.

We had so much fun in the lighthouse! The kids were excited as soon as pulling up. My oldest and I participated in the Rock Hall Flat Five, and our family was able to watch us from the balcony. On the 4th we were able to see fireworks through the trees and across the street. Such a unique, beautiful, and calm place to visit. Thanks so much!

Second Time Around

This is our second time staying at The Lighthouse and we had a wonderful time! It is perfect for three couples. The kitchen is large and fully equipped . The living room/dining room is spacious. The house was clean and ready for us. The property manager, Diane was responsive and very helpful.

A great place to just be! Gorgeous....

We had a combination work/vacation, and the Lighthouse was perfect for both. We highly recommend this unusually designed, spacious, comfortable, and beautifully located house. I saw eagles, herons, and other amazing birds; the sunrise and sunset was lovely (a rainbow at sunrise -- magical!) and the three of us had a great time with lots of room to hang out and have some time apart. Don't hesitate! I will stay here again.

Fabulous home away from home

We were in town for a wedding and this was the prefect location for us. The Lighthouse was open, spacious, CLEAN and had everything we needed. Including towels, sheets cleaning supplies etc. If I ever return to Rock Hall I will try to book this VRBO. We loved it!

Nicely appointed and equipped house in walking distance to many points in town.

We enjoyed our stay at the Lighthouse while our daughter’s wedding was at Haven Harbour. The house was well equipped, very clean and gave our family a great setup for getting ready for a wedding with separate bedrooms and baths. The elevator came in handy carrying items into the house. Communication was easy and responsive to our questions.

Lovely house relaxing time

We got together with our children for a 3 day quiet time together for one celebration of big birthdays and anniversaries this year. The house is lovely and relaxing and pretty to sit it. I love that there were TVs in the bedrooms. Loved the almost 180 degree windows around the open floor plan. We went to the small private beach and cracked crabs one evening - all in all very pleasant.
